TextFSM Template Builder
Our TextFSM Template Builder with Integrated AI is designed to simplify the creation of TextFSM parsing templates and the process of extracting data from CLI outputs.
Additionally, we’ve included an example catalog, offering pre-built template examples for common networking devices and outputs. This serves as a starting point or reference, enabling you to customize templates faster and ensure they align with Slurpit’s parsing needs.
Building TextFSM templates can be challenging and therefor we think it is important to have such a project available as an open-source project, to both learn from it and also make sure it stays available for the community.
Features:
- OpenAI integration
- Large catalog with example templates
- Live parsing of network configurations
- Share your building session with a team member
- Automatically remembers your session incase you close the browser
- Mobile friendly
- Custom TextFSM highlighter for the Moncao Editor
- NetConan integration for anonoumizing your config
- Runs directly or in Docker
Why did we build the
TextFSM Template Builder ?
Building TextFSM templates can be fun and challenging at the same time.
Last year at Autocon I (Pieter van Os) discussed with Alex Gittings how useful it is to have a TextFSM editor when building templates. This let to a side project we worked on with a group engineers (Scott Gillespie) for the last year.
And just before Autocon2 we announced the Open Source TextFSM Template builder
